 On May 29th Akumal will host a 3 day Festival
to commemorate 50 years since Pablo Bush Romero
first arrived in Akumal on an expedition to the
Matanceros Shipwreck. We invite all of you that care for Akumal and want to be a part of this memorable event to make your reservations soon! For

11:00 AM - 12:30 Treasure Hunt for children. Meet at 10:00 at Kid's Club, ends on beach in front of LolHa. Children will be
lead on a treasure hunt in and around Akumal beach – activities
begins with becoming Pirates and end with finding the buried
treasure along the way clues will teach them about Akumal.
12:00 PM – 6 PM:
Volleyball,
children of all ages are welcome to join in and play volleyball on
the beach in front of Hotel Akumal Caribe.
4:00 - 6:00 PM:
Sand Sculpturing and Kite Flying,
children of all ages are encouraged to participate in making sand
sculptures and flying kites on the beach in front of Lol-Ha 8:00pm to 11pm- Live Music at “La Buena Vida”.
