Tierra de Animales dog sanctuary outside Cancun has very little left in the way of plastic dog crates/kennels. This means that we can’t ship your new best furfriend to you until we have some airline-approved crates. This also means that we’ll run out of room to take more needy and injured dogs in, if we can’t get our healthy, lovely dogs to their new forever homes.
We currently have more than 130 dogs, and depend entirely on donations from our kind supporters to continue our mission and commitment to the animals of Quintana Roo. The one in this photo is actually smiling! He is finally happy and healthy.
If you’re coming down to Cancun soon, or you live in the Roo and don’t have need for your plastic crates–we’ll happily take them off your hands! Or if you live in Canada and can help by collecting them from friends and colleagues, we can arrange to transport them to Mexico. We have an airline in the major cities in Canada willing to fly the crates to the Cancun airport FOR FREE!!
We really need medium- and large-sized crates most importantly. If you’re able to help at all, please e-mail Lisa Edwards for more information or to ask how you can help Tierra de Animales.
Our Web site is currently under some construction, but please “Like” us on Facebook.
(THIS is why we need your crates –just look at these happy dogs going to the airport and on to their new homes!!)
Watch this great video here or in our video section under Interviews. We believe these dogs are speaking to all of us and hopefully to you too!
