Peaceful Retreats is a global wellness travel company guided by the vision, "be adventurous, be inspired, be well." Peaceful Retreats provides travel for groups and individuals that enhances personal wellness and facilitates cultural exchange. Co-founders Carol Brunelli and Rebecca Little work with local partners in Tulum, Mexico; Durban, France; Dharamsala, India; and Byron Bay, Australia to design custom, international travel itineraries. A portion of the proceeds from each trip is donated to a local nonprofit.
Rebecca's background includes several years as a travel consultant, independent world traveler, working in education and healthcare, and volunteering at home and abroad. Carol earned an MA in International and Intercultural Communication from the University of Denver, is fluent in Spanish, and has lived and studied abroad. She has over 20 years of experience in English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction and training program development.
