For questions directly related to the Library Angels program, please email: hekabbe@aol.com Getting Ready for Children’s Day April 30th is Dia de los Niños here in Mexico and every year we have a small celebration for the children who come to the library on a regular basis. This year we are pleased to be able to give toys to all the kids, thanks to an extremely generous donation made by Jessica Ulrich (and her parents who helped) & Kristin Isaac, two inspired high school students from Michigan who decided to do a fundraiser for Hekab Be at their church! ![]() If you are part of a church or other group that is interested in doing some fundraising to help out the children here in Akumal, please contact us at akumallibrary@gmail.com. Library Hours of Operation Our schedule is the following: Monday & Friday: 9:30 am-5:30 pm (closed 1-2:30 for lunch) Tuesday & Thursday: 9:30 am-4:30 pm (closed 1-2:30 for lunch) Wednesday: 12-1 and 2:30-5:30 (staff read at Akumal school in morning) Saturday 9-1 Closed Sunday AA Meetings at the library Monday-Saturday 8:30-10p.m. (sometimes meetings are not held on Wednesday) Join our cause on Facebook: Hekab Be Biblioteca |
