- Fire at Akumal Beach Resort. First reported to us by Kathy Sonheim. Photo taken from her villa, Nah Ha. Monday morning starting about 4:30 am ABR (Akumal beach resort) burned: lost reception, central restaurant & bar. We will post more news as it comes in.
Yal Ku Webcam David and Nancy Poor have installed cameras on their villa so that CEA staff can monitor the lagoon. The images show two views: one of the main lagoon and one of the inlet to the ocean.
