Que Onda |
 |
Tucked away in lush green gardens, Que Onda is a quaint restaurant and hotel in North Akumal near Yal-ku Lagoon. Featuring fresh, made-in-house pastas, their predominantly Italian menu has all the staples like Pasta Bolognese (like Grandmom used to make) as well a few eclectic combinations thrown in there like Maribel Style Pasta; jumbo shrimp, fresh veggies, and ginger in a Thai chile sauce, for a wide variety. Que Onda houses a nice assortment of wines and liquors for you favorite specialty cocktail.
Dine in their giant palapa or under the stars in the garden, all surrounded by soft lighting, unique artwork and tropical plants. Que Onda is open for breakfast 8 - 10:30 am and for dinner 5 – 10 pm (closed Tuesdays). With a history of international appeal, an extra bottle of wine can be enjoyed while you count the number of languages spoken at neighboring tables. Fine dining, a romantic setting, and steadfast great quality are three reasons to visit Que Onda during your stay in Akumal.
