The Pub has the complete beer & liquor selection and fun atmosphere you’d expect from a British beer joint. However, the Mexican twist is that you sit outdoors at wooden tables, under huge green canopies, right next to the dolphin pools at the marina of Puerto Aventuras. Aside from brews and cocktails, The Pub has a wonderful international menu full of hunger zappers. Paul, the British-Venezuelan owner, has created a selection that ranges from Nachos to Bratwurst with Sauerkraut, and Baby Back Ribs to Fresh Lobster Tail. The Pub offers a few on-the-go selections when you have 10 minutes to grab a bite before your next activity. If you have a bit more time, it’s a great place to sit and enjoy people-watching and dolphin-frolicking during a leisurely lunch or dinner.
Americans from any part of the U.S. of A. will be impressed with The Pub’s Baby Back Ribs, served Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Spiced delicately and cooked to perfection – the last time I tasted ribs this good I was standing over my Dad’s smoker in KCK! A few suggested specialties of The Pub: Coconut Shrimp w/plum sauce, English style Fish & Chips, Chicken Primavera, & Pizza.
